The Sheriff's Office and District Attorney's Office of Cumberland County have had strong ties for many years, which was strengthened when they formed a unique partnership in 2000, creating the position of Domestic Violence Investigator. Detective Jill Potvin is assigned to the position and works with the D.A.'s Domestic Violence Unit. Both Office's are dedicated to keeping victims of domestic violence safe and offenders accountable for their actions.
