Cumberland County Police Athletic League

PALPAL is a charitable non-profit organization whose mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of young people with the goal of enhancing the overall quality of life in Cumberland County.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's PAL has two programs. One provides funds for any youth athletic organization in Cumberland County assisting them with their mission. The donation requests help the organizations with equipment purchases, and scholarship for individuals unable to pay for registration fees. The second PAL program provides four $1,000 college scholarships for 2-male and 2-female graduating seniors from any high school in Cumberland County.

Annually the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office hosts a telephone fundraising campaign to support youth athletes. These telephone solicitations end with a spectacular athletic event. The Sheriff's Office plays Flag Football against former New England Patriots team members. Additionally, the NE Patriots put on a youth football clinic prior to the game.

PAL is "Investing in Today's Youth Through Sports"

For more information about obtaining funds for your non-profit youth sports organization, contact Captain Shawn O'Leary.
