Purpose
The Work Release Program helps inmates get a jump on the re-entry process. They get support from the Community Corrections staff and earn money to pay fines and to save for use once released.
Employer Participation
Employers interested in participating in this program must have up to date worker's compensation insurance. Community Corrections employees must work between the hours of 6:00 am and 12:00 am. Employers providing transportation for employees must provide a current copy of the vehicle registration, insurance and the drivers drivers license. Employers must agree to these and the requirements explained on the Employer Agreement Form (DOC).
