On Thursday, November 08, 2018 at 1521 hours, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies, Harrison Fire/Rescue, Bridgton Fire and Pace Ambulance responded to Summit Hill Road in Harrison for a Motor Vehicle Crash involving personal injury. 

 

A 16 year old female from Harrison was operating a 2008, Toyota Rav4 south on Summit Road when she lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle went off the right side of the road, spun and then struck a tree on the driver’s side of the vehicle. 

 

Also present in the vehicle was a 16 year old passenger.  

 

The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken by Life Flight to Maine Medical Center in Portland. The passenger was able to get out of the vehicle on her own and was taken to Steven’s Hospital for a evaluation.

 

The crash is being investigated by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Reconstruction Team. Speed was a factor in this crash.
