Incident Synopsis:       

On the above date and time, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a logging truck on its side and off the roadway due to the inclement weather.   The operator of the truck was 55 year old Phillip Howard Jr. from Bennington New Hampshire.   Howard was evaluated by Naples Fire/EMS for a complaint of pain. 

The vehicle was northbound on Sebago Road when it left the snow covered roadway on a curvy section and came to rest on its side in the ditch. Maine State Department of Transportation along with Naples Fire and EMS are assisting with traffic while the vehicle is being removed.

The 2007 tractor and 53 foot trailer loaded with logs is owned by Jason Curtis Outdoor Services from Chichester New Hampshire.

 The roadway in this area will be closed occasionally for the next four hours to assist in the removal of the vehicle.
