On the above date and approximate time, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded with Casco Fire/ Rescue to the intersection of Meadow Road (Route 121) and Poland Springs Road (Route 11) for a two vehicle crash. A 2014 Can-Am motorcycle driven by Adam White, (59 years old) of Gorham, NH was traveling south on Route 11. White was transported to Central Maine Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries, by Casco Rescue. White’s passenger, 59 year old Mary White (wife), also from Gorham, NH was transported to Central Maine Medical Center for serious injuries, by Life-flight.

Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors. The Sheriff’s Office is reconstructing the crash. The motorcycle was towed from the scene.
