Incident Synopsis:    

At or about 1:30pm Search Crews from the Maine Warden Service located the body of Timothy Clague in Watchic Lake. Diver’s From the Maine Warden Service recovered his body that is being transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner pending an Autopsy.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Maine Warden Service and Standish Fire/EMS responded to #61 Eleanor Ave, located off Watchic Road #4 in Standish for a reported missing person/overdue Kayaker. 39 year old Timothy Clauge of Nottingham New Hampshire had arrived for a weekend birthday celebration late last night. Sometime after midnight Clauge launched his Kayak to go fishing on Watchic Lake and has not been heard nor seen from since.  Clauge’s Kayak was recovered overturned on the lake by an area resident and has been secured by Officials.

Clauge is described as: White Male

                                          6’00” Feet Tall

                                          200 lbs

                                         Blue Eye and Brown Hair

At this time an active search to locate Clauge is underway on Watchic Lake by the Maine Warden Service Dive Team and the surrounding areas by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
