On 09/22/2019 Standish Rescue along with the units from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Thomas Road for an unresponsive male in a vehicle. While enroute Rescue Units and the Sheriff’s Office were informed, the male had regained conscious, left the scene and was traveling up Rt. 35. The suspect vehicle passed the deputies and rescue traveling south on Route 35.

A short while later it was reported the male had crashed into three vehicles by the Standish Boat Launch. There were not any injuries reported. The operator was identified as 38 year old Kevin Lawlor of Standish. When the deputies arrived on scene, civilians were detaining Lawlor as he had tried to escape into the woods.

Lawlor was transported to the Cumberland County Jail and charged with: Driving to Endanger, Operating With a Suspended License Habitual Offender Status, Failure to Report an Accident, Possession of Schedule W Drug and a Probation Violation.
