On the above date and approximate time, Deputies responded with Raymond Fire/ Rescue to North Raymond Road near Naomi Lane in Raymond for a single vehicle crash. A blue in color 2000 Chevrolet Blazer being operated by 32 year old Matthew Lougee of Standish was traveling northbound on Raymond Hill Road. The operator was unable to negotiate a curve, left the roadway and struck a tree. Icy road conditions played a factor in the crash. Lougee was unresponsive upon arrival, but was revived and was extracted from the vehicle. Lougee was transported to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries. The Chevrolet Blazer was totaled in the crash.
