The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of a three vehicle crash on Highway 35 in Standish near the Standish/Windham line. Fire/Rescue units from the Windham, Standish, and Gorham Fire Departments, as well as a LifeFlight helicopter responded. Three people were transported to area hospitals.

The occupants of the vehicles have been identified.


Vehicle 1:
Danilo Warrick, male, 75, Standish


Vehicle 2:
Kerry Oates, female, 46, Standish
Vincent Oates, male, 51, Standish
Owen Oates, male, 8, Standish


Vehicle 3:
Brian Whiton, male, 31, Standish


Owen Oates died at the scene. Danilo Warrick, Kerry Oates, Vincent Oates are at Maine Medical in critical condition. Brian Whiton was treated at the scene and released.
The crash is being investigated by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Crash Reconstruction Team and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.
