Incident Synopsis:
Sergeant Patrick Ferriter of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the above address for a report of two males passed out in a vehicle. Upon arrival, Sgt. Ferriter was able to wake the two males, who were sitting in a locked car that was running and in drive. The two were confused and did not know where they were. The males said they were coming from Biddeford. Sgt. Ferriter observed evidence of drug use and possession in the vehicle while talking with the males.
Sgt. Ferriter with assistance from Windham and Cumberland Police Department Officers and Gorham Police Department K-9, conducted a search of the vehicle and found 24 grams of Fentanyl and other illicit drugs.
Matthew Grant 43 years old of Yarmouth Maine was charged with Trafficking in Schedule W drugs. (17-A 1103.1A(A), Class B) and Illegal Possession of Hypodermic Apparatus (17-A.1111,class D)
Zachary Cleaves 36 years old of Biddeford Maine was charged with Trafficking in Schedule W drugs. (17-A 1103.1A(A), Class B) and Illegal Possession of Hypodermic Apparatus (17-A.1111, class D) and VCR (15.1092)
Both Subjects were taken to the Cumberland County Jail.
