On March 28th, 2020 at approximately 1709 hours, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the intersection of Convene Road and Bridgton Road in Sebago, for a single vehicle, motorcycle crash.

Emergency crews arrived and found that 26 year old Anthony Viola of Gorham was the operator of a 2011 Honda CBR250, he had no passengers.  Mr. Violas failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway and struck a street sign.  There were no other vehicles involved in the incident. 

Mr. Viola suffered serious injuries in the crash and was transported to Maine Medical Center via Lifeflight of Maine.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Sebago Fire and EMS as well as Baldwin Fire Department.  

The investigation is ongoing, however speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
