On May 24, 2021 at approximately 620 PM, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, with Standish Fire/EMS, were dispatched to a motorcycle crash in the area of Boundary Road at Richville Road in Standish.
Upon arrival to the scene, crews located a motorcycle that had gone off the roadway and struck a rock and trees. The male operator was located a short distance away, deceased.
The operator was identified as 35 year old, Kyle Kipikas, of Sebago. Kyle was operating his 2003 Honda CBR600. Kyle was the alone on the motorcycle and likely had crashed early in the morning hours. The investigation revealed that speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
