On 09-18-21 Deputies were called to Raymond Hill Rd in Raymond for a drive-by shooting. Callers from the residence advised that they had an argument over the phone with the suspects and now a vehicle had driven by multiple times and the last time the vehicle went by there were multiple guns shots fired from the vehicle. Caller advised that the suspects in the vehicle were Dylan Sanphy 21 of Raymond and Austin Yates 24 of Windham. The suspect vehicle was located in Windham by Windham PD and stopped. One of the suspects was inside. One of the guns used in the incident was recovered inside the vehicle.
Austin Yates was arrested at that scene for Criminal Threatening, Aggravated Reckless Conduct, Shooting from a Motor Vehicle, and Discharging a firearm near a dwelling. The second suspect Austin Yates turned himself into Deputies and is charged with the same offenses.
