[ARCHIVED] Bonny Eagle High School

Sanphy,Dylan

Incident Date: 09/29/21

Incident Time: 10:30 AM

Incident Location: Bonny Eagle High School

Release Date: 09/29/21

Release Time: 5:50pm

On the above date and time, school administrators at Bonny Eagle High School were made aware of a photograph posted on a social media platform. The photograph showed some handwriting on a wall that described an act of violence. The threat indicated that the incident would occur on 9-30-21.

The handwritten message did NOT target a specific school or school district and could not be confirmed to have originated at Bonny Eagle High School. The school buildings and grounds were searched and the original threat was not located. At this time, investigators are unsure of the origin of this photograph or where the handwriting may be found.

At this time, Bonny Eagle school officials and law enforcement do not believe this threat is credible nor do we believe the threat was written on any schools within the Bonny Eagle School District. School officials and law enforcement continue to work closely on this case to determine the origin of the message.

Out of an abundance of caution, the Superintendent has closed all SAD 6 schools for tomorrow. While we do not believe this to be a credible threat, situations like this are never taken lightly. There is nothing more important than the safety of our students, school staff, and our communities as a whole.
