Design
It was agreed that an uncomplicated design would be best for our piece of steel. Something that represented the reverence the event deserves, emphasizing the importance of the piece and still be able to offer a visual reference as to the purpose of the memorial.
Our on-site designer developed the idea of two stones, offset, supporting the steel in between.
Artist Gregory Ondo took the idea and developed it into the final artistic statement.
The site was designed and developed to offer a serene reflective environment that invites the viewer to linger and reflect on the importance of the memorial.
